Wine Division Director - Owner
John Rittmaster joined PRIMA to manage the retail wine department. Affable and knowledgeable, he has worked in all aspects of the wine trade for the past ten years. Prior to joining PRIMA, Rittmaster founded and directed the Robert Mondavi Pacific Rim sales and marketing office in Tokyo. Of course he speaks fluent Japanese. Rittmaster selects wines, organizes special tastings and other events, and contributes to PRIMA's wine newsletter. He also teaches a wine class at U. C. Berkeley.
